Revelation 3:15-18, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.”
Jeremiah 10:21, “For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.”
Jeremiah 12:10, “Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.”
Sadly, we are living in a dangerous time of incompetent pastors and preachers. Case in point is that wicked false prophet Billy Graham, who has openly praised the Roman Catholic pope as the greatest spiritual leader of the 20th century! I tell you, the Pope is inspired by Satan, and Catholicism is the biggest cult in the world today! ...
Billy Graham Says 'Salvation WITHOUT Jesus!'
Tragically, Billy Graham (1918-2018) is burning in Hell right now! No man is saved who denies that faith alone in Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven. Mr. Graham said that unsaved Muslims, Mormons and other unbelievers could be saved without faith in the name of Jesus. BLASPHEMY!!!
I have had the misfortunate of meeting incompetent graduate pastors of the Bob Jones University (BJU) cult. Also, the cult at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) that wickedly bids Godspeed to the deadly BJU cult. To name a few incompetent infidels: Jeff Redlin, Timothy Zacharias, Joe Hensen, Jared Baldwin, Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Chuck Phelps, John MacArthur, Sam Horn, John Lewis and Gary Walton. All these men pervert the plan of salvation. Jeff Redlin and the PCC camp errantly teach that repentance requires a change of behavior to prove you are saved. PCC has adopted the demonic false doctrine of BJU, that justification, sanctification and glorification are a package deal which cannot be separated. PCC is not what they appear to be. BEWARE of the cult at PCC!!!
Read what some of their own frustrated alumni have to say about PCC:
“Don't go here if you're a Christian; they don't actually follow the Bible. They just use it as an excuse to treat people like trash.” —Danielle Tate (2016)
“This institution did more to harm my personal development than any other. As a 38 year old professional, I still bear the scars of how I was treated by this harsh, unloving, uncaring college.” —Greg S (2015), a former abused PCC student
“17 years later and I'm still shaking off the trauma. So many extra-biblical rules it'll make your head spin. Great place for Pharisaical training if your into that. The rule book has more rules than the Bible.” —Jorn Anderson (September 2022), former mistreated PCC student
“Pcc is the worst school ever. It was a complete waste of my time and money. They kicked me out for going to the wrong Sunday school class. And that was a year ago. They still will not release my transcripts which has put me behind in my college career. They schools not be called a Christian college if they cannot even live by what the Bible has to say. If I was able to take it all back and not go there I would in a heartbeat. I am warning you if you are thinking about going DONT DO IT!!!!” —Gavin Bufford (2017), abused former PCC student
“I'm a 2018 graduate of PCC and I went here for all 4 years. It's really sad that this place calls itself Christian, its legalistic places like pcc that give Christians a bad name. They do have a lot of rules regulating most areas of life. I was treated very poorly and rude by several "Christians" on staff and faculty and I saw many of my friends treated the same way. I've personally seen people who were once people I would hang out with, when given positions of leadership become legalistic monsters taking joy in getting as many students in trouble as possible, and this is done in the name of Christ! As a student you are guilty until proven innocent and can be kicked out just because someone accuses you of something.” —Nick Harrison (2019), a mistreated PCC alumni
“It is NOT a friendly environment. All they care about is rules instead of encouraging and building you up in your Christian walk.” —Hannah Elizabeth Kirchhoff (December 2022), mistreated former PCC student
“They call themselves Christians, but Christians are supposed to show compassion and patience.” —Angela (January 2023), mistreated former PCC student
“In retrospect, I thank God for not having the opportunity to attend here (Pensacola Christian College) and myself for not making the decision to enroll.” —Richard Deuto (January 2023)
There is a woeful lack of love at PCC. Dr. Jack Hyles was so right, they are academics, not church builders, so they woefully lack compassion for people. ...
“I am all for standards, but I am not for standards without love.” —Pastor Jack Hyles
There is no love or compassion for individual people at PCC or their rotten Campus Church. All I asked in 2022 was to attend Campus Church, but their thug pastor Jeff Redlin refused. God will punish Redlin for his hatred and unforgiveness! Meanwhile, I am going to befriend all of PCC's hurting graduates who have fallen through the cracks, like Samantha Field who was brutally attacked by a male on PCC campus. She was told by a PCC staff member to stop causing trouble, to repent and let the matter go into God's hands. Poor Samantha Field. I am supportive of Samantha's pain and suffering, because like her, I have been mistreated, shunned, ignored and crapped on by PCC leaders and their ungodly yuppie pastors.
Thankfully, Marty Herron's religious partner in crime, Dr. Steve Pettit, has been removed as the incompetent president of Bob Jones University. Hallelujah and Amen!!! Jeff Redlin needs to go next at PCC's Campus Church. The day Redlin is fired or resigns I am going to throw a party! Tragically, Pastor Jeff Redlin is the worst thing to happen to PCC in a long time, bringing with him a self-righteous, hypocritical, cult minded form of bigotry, arrogance and playing God with people's lives. If you are divorced like me, and single hoping to remarry after 20 years, PCC will cruelly shun and throw you under the bus, as they wickedly did me in 2021 and still ongoing today. SHAME! SHAME!! SHAME on PCC!!! God will be their Judge. Thank God Steve Pettit is gone. God answered my prayer! Now I pray for Jeff Redlin to be fired!!!
These are all incompetent pastors today. The ungodly pastors at PCC's Campus Church all wickedly bid Godspeed to Ken Ham, who says that faith is not enough to get to Heaven. Ken Ham and his shameful Answers-In-Genesis cult falsely teach that you must also turn away from your evil ways to be saved. That is WORKS, not God's saving grace, which is by faith alone in Jesus Christ. Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” I didn't see anything in the Bible about forsaking your sinful behavior to get to Heaven.
Dear reader, God does want you to forsake a sinful lifestyle (Romans 3:31), but this happens as a result of being saved, not to get saved. A believer turns from sin, “if” (and that is the key word, “if”) they yield to the indwelling Holy Spirit (which we automatically get at salvation). Every child of God must choose to walk in that Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25). It is possible for a saint to choose to still walk in the flesh, living in open gross immorality. They are still 100% saved certain, because we weren't saved by good works, nor can we be saved by bad works. How can you lose that which was not yours to give in the first place? Salvation is of the Lord. Simply BELIEVE THE GOSPEL and you are saved forever!!!
BEWARE of today's incompetent pastors. You will know them by these warning signs:
They preach the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation (this heresy says that more than faith is necessary to get to Heaven. In addition, proponents of Lordship Salvation falsely claim that you must turn from your sinful ways, surrender to Christ as the supreme “Lord” of your life, give control of the steering-wheel of your life over to Christ, follow Jesus no matter what the cost, et cetera. You get the picture. The Bible teaches that faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.
They preach a misunderstanding of 'repentance' to be saved. They claim that “repent” means to give up your old lifestyle of sinning. This is a false gospel. Christ came to pay for our sins, because we simply cannot turn away from them. No one can! Who can stop sinning? Do you really think that God demands for you to become less a sinner than a bigger sinner as a requirement to go to Heaven? Dear friend, God requires for you to be absolutely 100% perfect to enter into His Kingdom! There is no way for you and me to achieve that of our own accord. That is why Jesus went to the cross, to pay our debt of sin, so that God could impute (credit) His imputed righteousness to us through faith (Romans 4:5-6; Philippians 3:9).
They use, sell and promote the Devil's corrupt Bible. All of today's English Bible revisions have been tampered with and corrupted by Satan. Only the inspired King James Bible is trustworthy.
They ban truth-tellers like me from attending church. I have been banned by the ungodly Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, and the ungodly Campus Church at PCC. PCC and Harvest are in bed committing spiritual whoredom together, blaspheming the Word of God. Harvest Baptist Church on Guam is a repository of ungodly perverted BJU alumni, who all preach Lordship Salvation, teach the Devil's misunderstanding of repentance, and use the Devil's Bibles. Yet, PCC refuses to contend for the Christian faith to rightly expose the BJU cult. That makes PCC guilty, partaker of their evil deeds (2nd John 1:11). Woe unto the PCC and BJU camps! I will have the last laugh in eternity, when God punishes them in my sight and rewards me for exposing all of them. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS! All that matter sot PCC and BJU is money.
They don't contend for the Christian faith. Any pastor who fails to teach and warn God's flock which has been entrusted to him is incompetent.
They don't have compassion or love individual people. It is tragic and pathetic how unloving the average pastor is today. I have met so many people who shared sad stories with me, about abusive pastors who couldn't have cared less about them as a human being. It is wickedness!!! Jeff Redlin (at Campus Church) and Marty Herron( as Harvest Baptist Church on Guam) left me to rot and die, shunning and banning me from attending church anymore, for which my blood is on their filthy hands. They are guilty in God's sight for pulling on the same rope as the Devil, when I befriended and tried to sincerely help them.
As a caring Bible preacher I expose abuse and mistreatment of people, wherever I find it. It bothers me that PCC has so much contempt and hatred for people, but they do. They cannot hide behind their big crowds, God sees their hard hearts and calloused souls. All I requested was to attend Campus Church at PCC, but they refused (since August 2, 2022), so I will keep publishing articles to tell the world how rotten they are at PCC. I am David going up against Goliath, but there is a God in Heaven.
I love people, but I can't stand pious arrogant pastors who won't allow people to come to church. They play God at PCC and BJU with people's live. I'm not kidding. The stiffnecked leaders at PCC are abusive and look down on people. They have huge egos! Sure they'll lie and claim to be humble and kind, but I am living proof that they are abusive liars, and so is Samantha Field evidence of abuse at PCC. I won't shut up! America is going to Hell because of incompetent pastors that don't love people. People just want to be loved.
Revelation 3:1-3, “And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.”
The saddest thing that I have seen in my lifetime is pastors who no longer stand, or never stood at all. Tragically, over 95% of pastors today do not contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3). They do not rebuke false prophets sharply as Titus 1:13-14 commands. They do not refute all works of darkness as Ephesians 5:11 commands. They only care about THE LOVE OF MONEY (1st Timothy 6:10-11). Sadly, nearly every one of those pastors (if not all of them), would refuse to admit that they love money, but their actions deny their words. One of the worst offenders is Pensacola Christian College (PCC), who wickedly bid Godspeed to Calvinists in the Bob Jones University (BJU) camp. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!
BJU for the past 40 years have preached hardcore Lordship Salvation. BJU praises and wickedly bids Godspeed to their alumni, Pastor John MacArthur (a devout 5-point Calvinist). Sadly, hardly anybody cares anymore about preserving the accuracy of the Gospel, the proper Bible meaning of repentance to be saved, or the purity of the inspired Holy Bible. Steve Pettit, Marty Herron and Jeff Redlin are all wicked religious imposters, who love money more than truth and individual people. They should all be put into prison for their crimes against humanity. Anybody who corrupts the truth, and supports those who corrupt the truth, belong in prison! All of the aforementioned wicked men get paid an outrageous 6-digit salary, for ruining people's lives with their heresy, woeful lack of compassion and religious hypocrisy.
It's bad enough the PCC is hateful, bigoted and prejudiced against people, but even worse they bid Godspeed to evildoers like Ken Ham who says that faith is not enough to get to Heaven. ...
Ken Ham's Deadly FALSE Gospel
I read on Twitter this week that Clarence Sexton (shameful pastor of the Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee) wickedly bids Godspeed to both Ken Ham and Steve Pettit (president of Bob Jones University). Why does Clarence Sexton praise, honor and support Calvinist devils? Why doesn't he contend for the faith? Why doesn't Pastor Sexton care about exposing a counterfeit plan of salvation? I'll tell you why, it is because Clarence Sexton is living large as a millionaire! He and his wife recently enjoyed a fancy vacation to England. The Sexton's own a large chunk of land, living in a mansion compared to what the average person does. THE LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil the Bible says. SHAME on Crown College. SHAME on Temple Baptist Church. SHAME on Pastor Sexton for not contending for the faith.
I don't enjoy writing blogs like this, but somebody needs to TELL THE TRUTH. Our nation's churches are in big trouble! The Gospel is rarely preached correctly anymore. False plans of salvation abound everywhere, so that lost sinners cannot be born-again. Religion never saved anybody! It is tragic and sad that America's church pastors are cowards, afraid to stand on their own two feet to speak THE TRUTH. Well, I'm not afraid to offend people, lose fair weather shallow friends, or please God by exposing error, false prophets, incompetent pastors and parasite preachers. I speak THE TRUTH in love.
Where are the 7,000 men who have not bowed their knees to Baal? The Bible defines “the Gospel” plainly in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 as Jesus' death on the cross for our sins, His subsequent burial and miraculous bodily resurrection three days later. Anyone who comes to God by faith as a needy guilty sinner, and receives Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sins, believing that Jesus is risen from the dead, is instantly and forever saved. So where do today's incompetent pastors get the crazy idea that you must cease from living a life of willful sin to get to Heaven? Where do those incompetent pastors get the wrong idea that you must invite Christ into your life, and turn control of your life over to Christ to serve Him faithfully as your “Lord”? The Bible doesn't teach those things to be saved.
It breaks my heart that less than 1% of pastors are preachers, who without apology or compromise cry aloud against the false doctrines, counterfeit gospels, fake bibles and perverse meaning of repentance being taught in churches today. The Bible colleges are mostly to blame, 99% of them denying that we have an inspired Holy Bible today. The LOVE OF MONEY silences pastors from making enemies by preaching THE TRUTH. It is sad and tragic. I love you dear reader with Christ's unconditional love. That is why I am telling you THE TRUTH. I don't hate any living creature (but Grizzly bears are getting close to being put onto my list...lol).
Dear friend, God commands Christian men who are learned in the inspired Word of God to contend for the faith. Titus was not an apostle, yet the Apostle Paul told him to “rebuke them sharply” who subvert whole households with a false gospel, that they might be sound in the faith. ...
Titus 1:9-14, “Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”
The main reason why Bob Jones University (BJU) is preaching the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation (i.e., a form of Calvinism) is because no other Bible colleges and churches will REBUKE THEM SHARPLY. I triple dog dare you to name even one pastor, Bible college or church that exposes BJU for preaching Lordship Salvation. Dr. Peter Ruckman (1921-2016) had earned bachelor's master's and doctorate's degrees from BJU, yet as an alumni he openly exposed them for selling, using and bidding Godspeed to the Devil's Bible perversions. SHAME on BJU for pulling on the same rope as the Devil.
Sadly, Pensacola Christian College (PCC) wickedly bids Godspeed to the BJU camp and their corrupt churches, like the ungodly Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. When I begged and pleaded for their love between 2014 and 2012, Pastors' Marty Herron and Gary Walton threw me under the bus, leaving me for dead, and I suffered inexplicable mental anguish and pain of soul, having no church family or friends. I felt like dying because of the abuse I was subjected to for all those years—being shunned, rejected, mocked, laughed at, ignored and ostracized for TELLING THE TRUTH—by the wicked pastors and carnal congregation of the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam.
There is no genuine love for broken people and hurting sinners at Harvest, not at PCC or BJU. They're all in it for their bellies, for the love of the money. No wonder Ben Fieldhouse took his own life in 2010, who was a member of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. Marty Herron doesn't know the meaning of love, forgiveness or compassion, who also ruined my life. God knows that I love all of the people I have mentioned in this article with God's unconditional love, but I am compelled to expose them because they are injurious, cruel, calloused, spiritually dangerous.
They are ALL phony religious leaders, who need to be identified and avoided (Romans 16:17-18). PCC has become the epitome of everything that is wrong with Christendom in the United States and beyond. Pensacola Comfortable College is a disgrace to the cause of Christ. Pastor Jeff Redlin at Campus Church is as phony as they come at PCC, who horribly mistreated me when I attended Campus Church, and has banned me since August of 2022 from attending Campus Church anymore. These ungodly cult leaders need to be exposed! PCC is today synonymous with tommyrot, balderdash and poppycock!
Maranatha Baptist University, BJU, PCC, Crown College, Hyles-Anderson College, Moody Bible Institute, Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary, et cetera—these are all spiritually dead and corrupt institutions today. Combined, these apostate institutions adversely influence thousands of churches across the United States. They influence several thousand missionaries around the world. Most of these organizations are wrong on the Gospel. Hyles-Anderson College is wrong to deny (since 2008) that we have an inspired King James Bible today. I have never wavered from my conviction that the King James Bible is 100% verbally and plenary inspired by God.
Kindly said, SHAME on the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana, for departing from the truthful position of their former longtime faithful pastor, Dr. Jack Hyles (1926-2001), who believed and preached that the King James Bible is 100% inspired by God. The great need of the hour is preaching preachers!!! RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!
Isaiah 1:4, “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.”
It is no revelation that America is going to Hell in a wheelbarrow. Everywhere we turn nowadays, all we see is bizarre news stories, apostasy in the churches and Bible colleges, and a nation that has lost its bearings. In this blog I am going to expose one of the most damaging spiritually corrupt institutions in our nation, Pensacola Christian College (PCC). I will also reveal some dangerous theological trends and spiritual corruption at PCC's Campus Church (CC).
Let's get started. In July of 2021 I started attending Campus Church (CC). At CC their senior pastor is Jeff Redlin. I wasn't even at their church for a week, and Jeff Redlin belittled me as a human being. I kindly introduced myself to him as a new church member. I explained my longtime suffering from spinal stenosis and radiculopathy. I kindly explained that my former wife had divorced me 15 years earlier in 2006. I kindly told Pastor Redlin that I had just moved to Pensacola from the island of Guam, where I had lived for 17 years. I also mentioned in a single statement that I hoped to find a wife at Campus Church. I explained that I was living out of a suitcase in a cheap local motel. I couldn't have been more friendly and respectful.
To my dismay and great disappointment, Pastor Jeff Redlin cruelly replied, scolding me for saying that I hoped to find a wife at Campus Church. I was blown away by the immaturity of the pastor of such a large so-called Christian institution. Where was the love of God? I mean, I had just met this pastor a few days earlier at the church's annual 4th of July picnic. What kind of pastor patronizes someone new to church, whom they just met a few days earlier, and has never even had one conversation with? To his utter shame, at no time did Pastor Redlin ever express even the least bit of concern, compassion, sympathy or empathy for my pain of soul, divorce, health problems, loneliness or difficult housing situation as a new church member. To his shame, Jeff Redlin only childishly focused on my statement that I hoped to find a wife, condemning me for desiring to have a companion just like he does. What a hypocrite!
It is true that first impressions are lasting impressions. When I met Pastor Redlin at the 4th of July picnic, I kindly told him that I was sleeping in Walmart's parking lot on Mobile Highway. I saw the startled look on his face, like he didn't know what to do. To his shame he literally just walked away and that was the end of it. That told me right away that Jeff Redlin is a coward who runs away from opportunities to help people in need. With thousands of dorm rooms at PCC, numerous millionaires in their church, tens of thousands of church members, and Redlin himself getting paid $125,000 a year by a megachurch, I would have expected so much more from him as a leader; but Jeff just walked away, because he only cares about himself.
To no surprise, the weeks to follow further revealed the carnality of Jeff Redlin. After his mistreatment of me, I felt like Pastor Redlin held a grudge against me for some reason. So again, I kindly emailed him and simply asked if I am welcomed at Campus Church as a divorced me who intends to remarry. Pastor Redlin totally ignored me for 10 days.
God Commands Christian Men To Contend For The Faith
Jude 1:3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”
So after a Sunday morning church service in July of 2021, I kindly approached Pastor Jeff Redlin to ask if he had received my email. To my disgust and frustration, he said in front of his lovely wife: “I might as well answer your question now, if you do find a woman to marry I won't perform the wedding.” I was cut to the heart by his abusive words.
So, I emailed him the next day to assertively let Redlin know how I felt, that he had been insensitive, rude and abusive toward me as a human being. Pastor Redlin shamefully replied by criticizing my website ministry, saying that he and his associate pastors see that I “find weaknesses in preachers.” The truth is that I preach against bad preachers who lie to people. The truth is that I rightly “rebuke them sharply” (Titus 1:13b). The truth is that I am obeying God to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 1:3b). The truth is that the PCC camp DON'T contend for the faith. I am going somewhere with all this, so please bear with me. PCC and CC are a mess!!! They are essentially the same organization, although legally separated for tax and other legal purposes. The PCC camp as a whole is an ungodly CULT! When I mention the “PCC camp,” that includes Campus Church and all their complicit alumni worldwide who follow cult headquarters at PCC.
The PCC Camp Doesn't Contend For The Faith
When Pastor Jeff Redlin wickedly accused me of “finding weaknesses in preachers,” that spoke volumes to me concerning the ungodly apostate condition of the PCC camp. These are their top leaders speaking foolishness! I had heard for decades that PCC are shallow, refusing to get involved with any controversial theological matters (e.g., exposing the Devil's corrupt bibles, refuting the Devil's damnable lie of Lordship Salvation, exposing the Devil's deadly lie of misunderstood repentance regarding getting saved, exposing dangerous false prophets like Ken Ham, refuting Satan's Calvinism in the unsaved Bob Jones University camp, et cetera). Sadly, the PCC camp all about taking in more money (tens of millions of dollars each year), while adamantly refusing to contend for the Christian faith to avoid offending anyone.
The biggest danger in churches today is their lackadaisical attitude toward doctrinal error. The biggest sin in churches today is their indifference. The biggest threat to churches today are the apostate Bible colleges who train their pastors!!! Less than 1% of so-called “Bible colleges” believe and teach that the King James Bible is inspired by God. The popular misconception is that God was incapable of preserving His very pure Words for every generation (Psalms 119:140; Psalms 12:6-7).
Tragically, Psalms 12:7 has been perverted in every modern corrupt Bible revision. The reason why is obvious, because if God did in fact preserve His inspired pure Words, then there can only be ONE true Bible in the English language. Sadly, we have hundreds of English Bible versions available today, literally. The only people I know who defend the Devil's Bible revisions are all infidel neo-evangelicals, who foolishly trust in Satan's damnable lies of Lordship Salvation and wrong repentance. Satan is a master liar and deceiver (John 8:44; Genesis 3:1-5).
When I lived on Guam, I attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church for several months. Sean Quinlan was their incompetent intern pastor from PCC. From Pastor Quinlan I learned a lot about the shameful attitude of the PCC camp toward heresy and error. In short, they just don't care or think heresy is something worth refuting. The inspired Word of God in Proverbs 3:5-7 warns us not to lean upon our own understanding, but to acknowledge God in all our ways. That includes acknowledging the Lord in all doctrinal matters, and how we should interact and deal with false prophets. ...
Romans 16:17, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”
Young Earth Creationist (YEC) Evangelist Ken Ham is a dangerous false prophet! Like all false teachers, Ken Ham corrupts the Gospel, by adding more requirements to be saved than to solely rest upon Christ's sacrifice on the cross for our sins. According to Ken Ham, in addition to faith in Christ, you must turn away from your past sinful ways to be saved. Sadly, the ungodly leaders at PCC and CC wickedly bid Godspeed to Ken Ham, showing his heretical YEC videos to church members and students alike. And worse, PCC promotes Ken Ham's counterfeit plan of salvation, further enabling and facilitating his false gospel.
The PCC camp also have much blood on their hands, for wickedly bidding Godspeed to the Calvinist Bob Jones University (BJU) cult. The Bible warns in 2nd John 1:11 that you become an accomplice, a guilty partaker, of someone's evil deeds if you bid them Godspeed. By sinfully supporting the BJU camp, PCC will be held accountable by God for partaking of their damnable Calvinist false doctrines, use and promotion of Devil's bibles and ungodly ecumenism (i.e., cooperation between believers and unbelievers). BJU are not true born-again Christians because they preach another gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). BJU sadly preaches the Devil's lies of Lordship Salvation and misunderstood repentance. ...
Why does the PCC camp wickedly bid Godspeed to BJU, Ken Ham and other infidels? RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!! The sins of Campus Church are great, lasting and woeful. Pensacola Christian College (PCC) is a gargantuan mess spiritually, theologically and concerning how they treat people. Search the internet concerning PCC's abuse of people, and you will find umpteen disturbing true stories of mistreatment, unfairness, emotional abuse, hatred and carnal behavior by PCC leadership.
In 2022, I humbly wrote three separate friendly letters, which I mailed to PCC and CC. I sincerely apologized for offending them (I had criticized them on social media), and I pleaded to come back to church. I offered to remove all my criticisms and not pout them back, if they'd just allow me to attend Campus Church again. I am an ethical man (something that PCC leaders are evidently incapable of doing themselves). Sadly, PCC and CC leaders boldly refused. PCC didn't even have the decency to reply, so they deserve all the criticisms they get (and I'm just getting started exposing their cult that throws people under the bus). Pastor Jeff Redlin totally ignored me for 6 weeks. Only when I became frustrated from being ignored, and lashed out on social media against them, did Redlin email me to tell me I am banned from attending Campus Church. Only a cult mistreats people like they have abused me at PCC.
The sad truth is that PCC and CC leadership are as carnally-minded as can be. They are a bunch of academic yuppie types, who do not walk closely with the Lord. For if they did, they would possess the unconditional love of God toward all humanity. I love everybody, unconditionally. I am not a respecter of persons, but they are at PCC. If the mayor of Pensacola told Jeff Redlin that he hoped to find a wife at Campus Church, Pastor Redlin in a thousand years wouldn't have scolded him like he shamefully did me. That is because Jeff Redlin is an ungodly respecter of persons (James 2:1). A pastor is a fool to scold a 54-year-old man for desiring to remarry after being divorced for 15 years. I am astounded at the juvenile immaturity of PCC and CC leadership. Truly, this is sickening!
PCC has a poor reputation regarding how they handle hurting students and church members. Here is one example that I found on social media, which exposes the ongoing abusive authoritarian culture at PCC...
Benjamin Daggett (2016)
After four years in PCC I cannot in good conscience recommend this school. Although the educational experience was good. The student life department controls and monitors every action of the students on campus. Instead of letting adult college students make their own decisions, the college enforces things like church attendance and bed times. The college zealously enforces its church attendance rules. When I had a torn ACL and had surgery the next day, I was told I had to go to church or be forced go to a video recording of the service on Saturday. Also since my leg was swollen and in a big bulky cast I asked the Student Life department if I could wear shorts to class since pants were painful to put on and wear but I was told I still had to wear pants. Dean Omen said I could wear "athletic" pants but those do not solve my problem. The school is more concerned with enforcing rules than actually caring for its students. SOURCE
I read a really good article today called: 'Why Blindly Following The Rules Is A Mistake.' Wow, that article practically provides the address to Pensacola Christian College. Literally, PCC leadership is pennywise and dollar stupid. They are superficially wise in minor matters, but utterly fail to see the big picture. By enforcing their authoritarian system of oppression and rules, while lacking the common sense and godly compassion that should always supersede their totalitarian rules, they blatantly confirm their status at PCC as being a thuggish religious CULT!!!
I made the following YouTube videos to share my own painful experience of being abused, shunned and bullied at Pensacola Christian College and their pathetic Campus Church...
Pensacola Christian College Cult Exposed
Individual People Don't Matter At Pensacola Christian College
You know, the way that we treat people matters. When I started attending Campus Church at PCC, Pastor Redlin let the cat out of the bag, when he said that someone contacted the information desk to slander me. One of my enemies from the Bob Jones camp contacted Campus Church, and the shameful pastors of Campus Church sided with my enemies. The fact of the matter is that the ungodly Harvest Baptist Church on Guam is in bed spiritually with PCC and BJU (their cult headquarters at Harvest). Harvest's KHNG 88.1 radio station on Guam even has Jeff Redlin's name posted on their webpage.
Furthermore, the man who runs the radio station at PCC, has an adult son who now runs the radio station for Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. When I attended Harvest Baptist Church on Guam for a year in 2014, I met and prayed with the man who now runs the radio station at PCC. It's a small world! My point is that PCC, and the Calvinist Lordship-Salvation-preaching BJU camp are all in bed together, committing spiritual whoredom, which is idolatry. These apostates are all connected at the hip, wickedly hobnobbing with each other to make more money. Sadly, I am the only one who is making a fuss about the damnable Calvinist heresy being preached at BJU and the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam.
PCC has been adversely affected by the BJU cult. Galatians 4:16-17, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.” PCC are utter fools to buddy buddy with the accursed Bob Jones camp, who promote Satan's corruptible seed, and preach Satan's counterfeit plan of salvation called Lordship Salvation.
PCC is a mess today!!! They are infamous for mistreating people, especially those who have been divorced. When I attended Campus Church in 2021, one of their staff members with 23 years of employment confided to me that divorced people are either shunned at PCC, or they avoid coming their at all. Dear reader, that is NOT Bible Christianity!!! At PCC there is a sinful haughty, proud, arrogant and stiffnecked evil spirit of self-righteousness. No doubt they would deny such an accurate claim, but their bullying and abuse of umpteen victims speaks for itself.
PCC is a mess! They refuse to fight the good fight of faith. Their Campus Church pastors don't feed God's sheep. When I attended the Pensacola Interstate Fair in October of 2022, I stopped by the PCC religious booth in one of the exhibit buildings. The two fools who ran the PCC booth were as ignorant theologically as a box of rocks! I say that kindly, but truthfully. Both guys told me that they believe in Lordship Salvation.
One of them shamefully told me that they teach the same garbage as Dr. Steve Pettit at BJU, claiming that justification, sanctification and glorification are a package deal which cannot be separated. In other words, if your not living a changed life, you've never repetend of your sins and are not saved at all. That is NOT the Gospel of free grace. It is clear to me that PCC is full of tares (unsaved religious people in the churches). The problem is that Pastor Redlin fails to feed the congregation with truth. Pastor Redlin merely delivers his sugarstick sermonettes weekly, collecting his disgusting 6-digit annual salary, getting paid 4 times more than the average U.S. worker.
Also, PCC and CC do not go soulwinning. In fact, they absolutely refuse to use the term “soulwinning,” because the term is commonly associated with Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001). Instead, PCC calls it “passing out flyers.” What a pathetic joke! A handful of PCC college men stand outside a coffee shop and pass out flyers to invite people to Campus Church, and they call that “witnessing.” No, it is properly called, “soliciting.” And in the sad case of PCC, I would also call it, “loitering.”
In truth, there is no actual soulwinning at PCC!!! I was sickened as I sat in the pews of Campus Church, and heard Pastor Redlin shamefully charge $10 for anyone who wanted to attend a church meeting on how to more effectively share the Gospel. There is no real soulwinning at Campus Church or PCC. They just want to maintain a superficial façade of being a fundamental Bible college, to save face and fool prospective students; when in reality PCC has become an apostate neo-evangelical nightmare, where no caring and wise parent would ever enroll their impressionable child. Please RUN from this place!!!
The real reason why they won't permit me to return to attend Campus Church is because I am a threat to the PCC camp. I am a truth-teller. I SPEAK UP for God. I think objectively, whereas 99% of PCC's students and church members mindlessly follow their incompetent leaders, who fill their brains with neo-evangelical apostasy. PCC's members blindly follow whatever their cult leaders tell them. That is a cult, not a New Testament church. Learn to think for yourself. Question everything. Please RUN from the PCC camp!!!
(Preached at the National Sword of the Lord Conference, 1999)
I want to speak on “The Astounding Confusion in Today’s Churches.” I’m saying that after visiting literally thousands of churches in all of these years of my ministry and visiting over a hundred every year, one after another, week after week. Now here is my text:
“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
“Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.” —Matthew 16:17–20
As I travel around, in every city, I notice churches. There are seven denominations that are prominently seen in almost every city where you go: Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Church of God, Church of Christ, Roman Catholic and Episcopalian. There may be others, but I’m giving you seven that are the major ones. You have them here. They’re all different. They all have different confessions of faith and different ideas about how to run things. With some exceptions, they profess to believe the Word of God.
But there is an astounding confusion in today’s churches. For example, there’s confusion on salvation. The Bible teaches salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear on that, but there is confusion. Some believe in salvation by works; some, in salvation by baptism; some, in salvation by church membership. On and on they go.
Then there’s confusion on standards of living. How should we live? That confusion is everywhere, in every city, on how Christians ought to live, how they should behave, what they should do. Some are weak, and they turn away to the world and the sins of the world. Their members do, and their pastors do. The pastors lead in it. Others are strict and believe the Scriptures and try to live a separated life.
Again, there’s confusion in leadership. Some believe in a called-out ministry. I do. I believe God calls men to preach and missionaries to go out to the mission field. But some do not believe that. Some take the ministry as a business, paying a good salary, and as a public opportunity. There’s confusion in all of that.
Then there’s confusion of purpose. Why do we have a local church? What is the purpose of the local church? Well, some believe we’re going to change society, make America a better nation. No, that’s not it. The purpose of our church is to win souls to Christ. That’s the purpose of a local church, to win people to the loving Son of God. That’s the business we must hold to all the time. The Great Commission has been given to us, and we must not turn away.
All of this confusion! Christians are confused, and churches are confused. But what about lost sinners? What about the unsaved? They’re confused also by hearing a multiplicity of ideas and thoughts. And I don’t blame them sometimes. They get all worked up when they hear Baptist and Methodist and Presbyterian and Church of God and Church of Christ teaching, all of them mixed together. They say, “What are we to believe?”
My friend, we must come back to the Word of God. This Book is our standard, and this is what we must have in your church and in my church and in every church. If we are to get things right, eternally right, we have to follow the holy Word of God. When we hold to the Book we’re then sure of where we stand.
I. There Is Confusion on the Way of Salvation
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). That’s clear. That’s clear for everyone—Christ, the only Saviour of lost men. One way of salvation:
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:”
“it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” —Ephesians 2:8, 9
Good works cannot save; baptism cannot save; church membership cannot save. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
This we must see: Christ died for our sin. The world is confused about it. They’re confused about that little term, being “born again.” They don’t know what it’s all about. Some do; some don’t; many don’t. They are confused, but how simple it is. Understand that for everyone, Jesus Christ is the Saviour and the only Saviour and He saves to the uttermost all who repent, believe and come to Him!
This is simple, understandable to young people. This is understandable to the uneducated man. This is simple to the man of foreign extraction who comes to this country and hears the Gospel. He can be saved. This is understandable to the derelict of the streets, way down deep in sin. He can be saved by simple faith in Christ.
I’m giving you all that to emphasize this matter of the present day and what we should see—the way of salvation—and what we should hold to in our preaching and our teaching. Give the way of salvation clearly and distinctly every time you preach. Every time you stand before people, you tell them that Christ is the only Saviour.
What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
We have to hold to that. We’re living in a tough day, a confused day. It’s confused by radio, television, newspapers, magazines, books. Everything is confusing. There’s confusion in Washington, D.C. It’s badly confused! But New York City and Chicago, anywhere you go, there is the same thing. People are confused, and they’re searching; they’re seeking; they’re asking. My friend, we must give them what God says from His Word. They must hear the Word of God.
II. There Is Confusion on the Way of Life
So there’s confusion about the matter of salvation. Then there’s confusion on the way of life, how to live this life. The Word of God gives us so many wonderful things on that. We could turn in the Word of God and read them to you, about what God has promised for all of us:
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” —Matthew 11:28, 29
We can find everywhere in the Word of God instruction on how we’re to live and what we should do.
The apostle Paul puts it in the words of Romans 12:1, 2:
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
How to live is very important. Paul said, “Abstain from all appearance of evil” (1st Thessalonians 5:22). The confusion of living! There is confusion today about what we should do and what we shouldn’t do. Yet the Word of God is very clear: “Abstain from all appearance of evil.” Live for Christ. That’s for every one of us—no compromise at all. We live by the Word of God. We live by the Book. We live by the indwelling Holy Spirit. He’s in you, child of God; and if He’s in you, He’s there to cleanse your life and direct your life and empower your life. The Holy Spirit indwells you, and we live by this indwelling Holy Spirit.
Then, we live by His example. We’re to follow Him and do what He would have us to do. That’s the matter of our living day by day, being in the right place at the right time, saying the right thing, doing what God wants us to do with our lives, not wasting our lives but using them to the glory of God.
That means to live a separated life. That’s the believer’s present life—separated from the world. If there’s a doubt or a question about something, don’t do it. You say, “What about dancing? What about the picture show?” If you have a question about something, don’t do it. And you’ll have your questions, so turn away and say, “I want to do what God said. I want to follow Him and live in His light.” We’re to live in that way.
Then live the life of Holy Spirit power. I can’t say too much about this. Child of God, if you’re saved, you have the Holy Spirit in you now. He wants to empower you. He wants to fill you and use you and make you into what He wants you to be. You say, “O God, I want the fullness of the Holy Spirit upon my life. I want to know the presence and the power of God. I want to live and teach and preach and sing and have whatever I do to be for the glory of God. I want the Holy Spirit to direct me and to use me.” He wants to fill you. That means to control your life completely.
Then we’re to bring others to Christ. That’s our business—to let our light shine that we might bring people to the Son of God. The power of a dedicated life! The power of a life that’s so close to the Lord that people can sense and feel it.
Don’t rush by this thought. You have only one life. Don’t misuse it. Don’t ignore responsibilities. You have only one life—that’s all. Don’t be confused by the voice of the world. The way of the Light is simple. It’s given to us in the Word of God. Hold to that with all of your heart.
In this present day, in all of the confusion of this time, the way of salvation is clear. Men are saved by faith in Jesus Christ.
This matter of a way of life in this present life, what we’re to do, is also clear. The Bible prescribes what we’re to do, what we’re to say, how we’re to act, where we’re to go, how we’re to behave. The Bible tells us how, and you follow the holy Word of God. Live so that others can be brought into touch with our blessed Lord.
Then I come to my third thought:
III. There Is Confusion on the Work of Life
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” —Acts 1:8
That’s clear, and that’s what you’re to be. You’re to be a witness by your life, a witness by your words, a witness by your actions, a witness by your decisions. You’re to make all your decisions based upon the leadership of God in your life.
Here’s the work of life: to point people to the Lamb of God. The work of God is for us to carry out the Great Commission of our Saviour, to get the Gospel to the ends of the earth that people might hear and be saved. We’re to be witnesses, witnessing for Him day by day and night by night. That’s the work of life. Don’t be confused on that. It’s your job. It’s as simple as ABC, and you’re to keep with it night and day, pressing upon people their need of Christ and pointing them to the Lamb of God.
I gave invitations in Highland Park Baptist Church for more than forty years and six months, every single service—Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night. Every service I pressed upon people that they had the need of Christ. We saw literally thousands saved. I baptized thousands and thousands of converts in those forty years.
We must emphasize this matter of the work of life, getting people to Christ and then showing people what they’re to do with their lives when they are born again and saved. They’re to be witnesses for Him. Every child of God—the man, the woman, the young, the old—is to be a witness for the loving Saviour.
We should witness through our daily lives. Live in such a way that others can see Christ in you. You don’t have to make any apology or any excuses. You don’t have to hide. You have nothing to cover up. There’s nothing doubtful. You’re simply living for Christ, every moment saying, “Lord, I want You to use me to point someone to the Lamb of God.”
If you’re doubtful in your living, your actions, your words, your speech, your demeanor of life, you’ll fail. But if you live a positive life so that no one can doubt you or what you stand for, you’re living a holy life for Christ.
Witness by your daily life—not a doubtful life or a questionable life, but one that will let them know what you are. Be definite and positive so they can look at you and know what they should be if they come to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Then witness by your worship habits. I have a motto I’ve given my people for years: “Three to thrive.” In all this time I’ve never known a man to backslide who attended church Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night. I’ve had a lot to backslide who quit coming to prayer meeting. I’ve had a lot of them to backslide who didn’t come to Sunday night and Wednesday night. But I’ve never known a man to backslide who would attend all those services, sincerely, with Bible in hand. God would do something for him.
Witness by your worship by inviting people to the house of God. There’s something beautiful about going to church. There’s something beautiful about a family gathering in the car to drive to church on Sunday morning—Mother and Father and children, driving to the house of God to worship God. You witness by your worship habits. Have the motto for your family: “Three to thrive”—Sunday morning, Sunday night, prayer meeting.
Then, you witness by your spoken testimony. He said, “Ye shall be witnesses unto me.” We’re to be witnessing for Him daily. That’s in the visitation for the church, knocking on doors, telling people of the Saviour and witnessing for Christ.
We had a visitation program for forty years in Chattanooga, every Thursday night. We would go out and knock on doors all over Chattanooga. We kept it up year after year, week after week, and kept on maintaining the visitation time of pointing people to the Lamb of God and pointing people to Christ and getting people into the Sunday school to hear the Word of God as it is taught.
So witness by your spoken testimony. Keep this up all the time. You witness by your daily life. You witness by your worship. You witness by your testimony that you’re giving for Christ. We’re here because someone witnessed to us.
I’m here tonight because a little Sunday school teacher named Mrs. Daisy Hawes witnessed to me. I went to the Sunday school because a young man, a neighbor, took me to Sunday school in an old Ford car. We drove to the old Cedar Creek Baptist Church outside Louisville, and there I heard the Gospel for the first time from the voice of a little lady Sunday school teacher, teaching boys. (That’s not usually done, you know, today.) We were a crowd of boys at thirteen and fourteen years of age, but she taught us. She gave us the Gospel. I heard for the first time in my life that I’m saved by faith in Jesus Christ. She had me quoting John 3:16 and other familiar verses and pointed me to the Lamb of God.
Ye shall be witnesses by your testimony, and you’re so to testify daily by your speech and your actions that you’re pointing people to the blessed Saviour. You’re here tonight in this meeting because someone witnessed to you—some preacher, some evangelist, some mother or father, some friend or loved one witnessed to you. Somehow you heard the Gospel, and you read the Word of God, and you received Christ as your loving Saviour.
God wants to use all of us, and we’re living in strange, confusing days. Confusion is over the whole nation. It’s everywhere. People are confused. They don’t know which way to go. They’re up and down, in and out. They’re not sure of what they should be, but God has a way of letting them know. In this amazing, unusual day, we have a confession of faith and a knowledge of our Lord and a message to give to them that Christ died for sinners and will save all who repent and come to Him.
In this astounding, astonishing confusion of the day, we should know Christ. Know that you know Him, reader. What a pitiful thing it would be for a man or woman to hear the message of God over and over and go away lost. Yet some have done it. They do it in all churches in every place.
Know Christ. Then live for Christ. Say, “I want to witness for Him every day. In this astonishing, amazing, needy day, I want to witness for Him and let people know about Him. I want to live for Him every hour. I want to give that gospel message: ‘Christ died for our sins.’ I want to keep pressing it upon the hearts of people—men and women, boys and girls—everywhere.”
God, give us a unity in our thinking and a joy in the business of telling the story of Christ and going out everywhere, in every street and highway, pointing people to the Lamb of God, saying, “This is the message God has given me.”
There is astounding confusion in this day, but you’re not to be confused. You’re here in this conference. You’ve read this message. Now have your mind and heart filled with it and go out as one who’s been empowered of God, filled with the Spirit of God, with a message of God in your heart to give to people everywhere.
Take something special from this message—something that maybe others do not have, but you’ll have it. You’ll be able to share it and able to stand for Christ and live for Christ every moment and every hour that others might be blessed by your life and ministry and message.
Give us unity on the way of salvation—Christ as Saviour. Give us unity on the way of life—separation from the world. Give us unity on the work of life—witnessing for Christ. The way of salvation, the way of life, the work of life and victory are through the blessed Saviour, Jesus Christ!
I want God to use you and pray that God will use you. This is a strange, unusual day in which we live. We’re turning from the Bible. We’re closing up Sunday night services. We’re giving up the prayer meeting. We’re changing everything all around. In this strange, unusual day, this is a time for you who have read this message and know what it’s all about to go out as a missionary, as an evangelist, to point people to the Lamb of God and say, “This is it!” In this strange, unusual day, say, “This is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He can save and keep and satisfy.” Get people to Christ. They’re hungry.
I was preaching one day in Texas. As I stood in the pulpit, two men came in the back door. One was a great big fellow. He had on a bright red shirt and had a big red cap on his head. He came in and sat down with the cap on his head. Ordinarily, when a man walked into church at Highland Park with a cap on his head, I stopped everything and told him to take it off in the house of God. I looked at that fellow. He was too big! I said, “Lord, I’d better leave him alone.” There he sat right back there—a big, big fellow with a big red cap on his head.
I came to the end of my message and gave the invitation, and people started coming forward. I walked back to him. I said, “Son, are you saved?”
He said, “Ah, I don’t want to think about it.”
“Would you like to be? Would you like to be a Christian, saved, born-again, going to Heaven when you die?”
“Yes, I would.”
I said, “Come on!”
He left that place and started down the aisle. I reached up and took the red cap off his head and threw it under a bench—got rid of that. He came and knelt down in front of the bench. I put the Bible down in front of him. I read the Word of God to him. I said, “This is it! Christ died for you. He’ll save you now and give you everlasting life.”
That great big, rugged fellow, tough as nails, bowed his head and said, “Yes sir, I’ll trust Him now. I’ll take Him as my Saviour now.”
He stood up there, a big fellow, taller than I am, big, husky, crying like a baby.
I said, “Son, how did you get here tonight, coming in here with your hat on?”
He said, “He brought me.” He pointed to a little man sitting there who must not have weighed over 125 pounds.
I said, “What do you mean, he brought you?”
He said, “Well, I was standing there in front of the drugstore, talking to the boys, having a big time; and he walked by and said, ‘Let’s go to church.’
“I said, ‘No, I don’t go to church—don’t like churches.’
“That little man back there said to me, ‘Are you afraid to go?’
“I told that little man back there, ‘I’m not afraid of anything or anybody.’
“He said, ‘Good! Come on!’ That’s how he got me here. Thank God I’m saved. Thank God I’m a Christian.”
Now, my dear friend, that’s the thing I want you to see. There is this strange, astounding confusion today. It is all around us. You see it on every hand. You hear it on the radio, don’t you? You get it on television and in your newspaper. It’s everywhere. People are confused; they don’t know what to think.
You come back to the Word. Come back to the way of salvation. Come back to the way of life in Christ, separated from the world. Come back with the great hope in the second coming of our Saviour. Jesus is coming again! Begin to preach and teach and live in the light of these certainties. Sunday school teachers, ushers in the church, people of the church, no matter what you may be, let your light shine. Live in such a way that people know you belong to the loving Saviour.
John 5:41-42, “I receive not honour from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.”
Ephesians 4:30, “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”
I am so disgusted with Pensacola Christian College (PCC) and their pathetic Campus Church pastors. I am just getting started preaching against the PCC camp. God knows that I made three sincere attempts to reconcile with them in 2022, but they cold-heartedly refused. Sadly, the leadership at PCC and Campus Church (which are one and the same essentially) are snobby, arrogant, high-minded, insensitive and woefully lack God's compassion for people. Did I mention that most of them they are jerks? But don't take my word for it, listen to what they own alumni have to say about PCC (these comments are from Google reviews)...
Sarah Mitchel (2017)
I was a student from 2013 to 2016 and had grown up on a farm. I chose PCC
so I could have a quality, Christian education, but was disappointed to find a
lookism culture on a "Christian" campus - if you do not look, act, and think the
way they want you to, you will feel ostracized and may receive demerits.
Monitors are placed both on and off campus (some of whom hide behind trees and
bushes outside and potted plants inside buildings in order to 'catch' students
doing something contrary to the rules). They even say, God gave them authority
over the students and to disobey them is to disobey Him (even if you can't find
most of their rules in the Bible). I understand and appreciate some of their
rules, but others are in place simply so that they can manipulate and control
the students. Some were just confusing - for example, you can have blue-tooth
earpieces, but you cannot have earbuds. They do not accept federal financial aid
(no FAFSA or grants) and their education cannot be written off as a tax
deduction (1098-T form). The campus was beautiful and the sports center (when it
wasn't full) was fun, but I can't recommend the food - it is good for the first
week or so. Many of the staff were sincerely friendly, but most were not. I am
so glad that I began again at another college! (Not transfer - none of my
credits would, but other students have been able to transfer some). I would not
recommend this college to anyone.[emphasis added] SOURCE: Google reviews for Pensacola Christian College
Sarah is right, PCC is a prisonhouse of religion!!! Young people enroll at PCC thinking that they will be in an environment of love and compassion, just to find out later on that PCC is an abusive authoritarian cult where THE SYSTEM always comes first, but INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE do not matter.
When I started attending PCC's Campus Church in July of 2021, Pastor Jeff Redlin treated me like garbage, and I told him so in an email the next day. His cruel response to me was that it was "your reality." I couldn't believe his insulting words. Redlin was saying that I felt like garbage because of me, not that he mistreated me with his rude and abusive comments.
When I had first came to PCC, I kindly wrote to Pastor Redlin after my first week at Campus Church, mentioning briefly that I had been divorced for 15 years, and was hoping to find a wife at Campus Church. In his self-righteous hypocrisy, he scolded me for coming to church to find a wife. I was numb in my soul that some jerk whom I had never even heard of until a week earlier, was condescendingly talking down to me (a 54 year old man) like I was his child. You don't talk to people like that!!! As a pastor, Jeff Redlin should have either said nothing, or shown some compassion and sympathy that my wife divorced me against my will in 2006. He never once offered to pray with me. He never showed any love, concern or compassion for me as a suffering human being. I never once told Pastor Redlin that I came to Campus Church to find a wife, I simply said that I hoped to meet a woman to marry at church. Jeff Redlin put words in my mouth, condemning me in his ungodly self-righteousness.
You won't find any of God's unconditional love or compassion in the Bob Jones University (BJU) and Pensacola Christian College (PCC) cults today!!! In these ungodly institutions you are required to submit like a dog, sell your soul, play their intolerant authoritarian game, or else they will chop off your head like a turkey on Thanksgiving Day!
There are no second chances once you offend them (as I learned firsthand). It didn't matte to PCC arrogant leaders that I pleaded three times to come back to Campus Church in 2022, or that I humbly offered to do whatever they require to reconcile, they totally ignored me for SIX WEEKS. They have my mobile phone number. They have my mailing address. They have my email. But no one had the decency to even talk with me about the matter. So after six weeks, I became frustrated at PCC, and I criticized them on social media. ONLY THEN did they respond to tell me that I am forbidden to ever attend Campus Church again. In hindsight, I now realize that this is what they were hoping for all along, to find any excuse just to throw me under the bus and get rid of me. PCC's leaders and pastors are WICKED PEOPLE!!!
I have read horror stories online (go search for yourself) about PCC students being expelled for criticizing the college on social media, for making fun of other students, for publicly showing allegiance in Virginia for General Robert E. Lee of the Confederate Army, et cetera. They expelled the senior student who showed respect for Robert E. Lee. Attending PCC is a game of Russian Roulette, you may do something small that pisses them off and you will lose everything!!! PCC even sued one of their own graduates for $100,000. There is no freedom of speech in this damn country anymore! America has become DUNG!
I wouldn't give you a penny for the authoritarian cult environment that exists at PCC. Their leaders will smile in your face like all is okay, but turn against you in a heartbeat if you don't walk a very fine line of servitude, dotting all your i's and crossing all your t's. If you veer even a little to the left or to the right, you will be on the outside looking in very quickly. Their is NO LOYALTY to individual people at PCC, only absolute loyalty to THE SYSTEM. PCC sadly reminds me of the Mormon cult, where multitudes of people have been outcast and banned from returning, who dared to question the cult's leaders. But enough of my humble opinion, read again what another one of their mistreated alumni has to say:
Jillena Rose (2016)
I would never recommend this school to anyone unless you'd prefer to be in
jail cell for four years. Whether it was being judge by what you wear every
single day as you walk out of your residents hall or not being able to show
common courtesy by shaking hands from the opposite sex. I thought it was going
to be a great school but it actually was one huge nightmare. Plus, their
accreditation system is very messed up and 90% of the time if you decide to go
to a different college, more than likely your credits will not transfer. I guess
its their way of trying to keep you there. Best of luck to anyone that goes
here. [emphasis added] SOURCE: Google reviews for Pensacola Christian College
Here is what another one of their alumni has to say about the PCC cult...
Melissa La Rance (2017)
If I could I would give this school zero stars. The faculty cares very
little about the students and is only interested in pushing their own agenda. I
completed almost 3 years as a nursing major; had excellent grades, outstanding
attendance, and overall followed the rules accordingly. However, I had to leave
mid-semester because my mother was dying of cancer. The faculty didn't care and
I was told that if I left this school I would not be successful in my life. Fast
forward to almost 5 years later; none of my credits transferred.I ended up
having to retake 3 years of college all over again. Wasted thousands of dollars
on this scam of a school. At any chance I get, I discourage any young high
school grad from attending PCC. Literally the worst decision for a college
education. [emphasis added] SOURCE: Google reviews for Pensacola Christian College
Are you listening dear reader? I sure hope so. I am writing from my own personal experience as a former member of Campus Church at PCC. I am now 55 years old. I have four adult children of my own. My son turned 33 this year. My youngest of three daughters turned 29. So I am writing compassionately as a father and a born-again Christian. Please RUN from this cesspool of authoritarianism at PCC. There is no love or compassion for hurting sinners. And God forbid if you are divorced, single, and hoping to remarry, because in the PCC camp you are a walking piece of crap to them! I am not joking.
PCC looks down on divorced people, regardless of who filed for divorce. It doesn't matter to them, they will NEVER accept you unless you plan of staying single for the rest of your miserable lonely life! Even the inspired Holy Bible teaches that every man should have a wife, and every woman a husband, to prevent fornication in the church (1st Corinthians 7:1-2). The Bible doesn't exclude divorced people! But at PCC, there is ONLY God's perfect will for your life, and once you've blown it, your life is over in their eyes. There is no acceptable or permissive will of God at PCC, but there is in the Holy Bible (1st Corinthians 7:28).
Hey, here is a comment by a Christian Uber driver who noticed that a female PCC student was being financially taken advantage of by the college. She literally had to sleep in the Pensacola Airport because of PCC's greed!!! Real great testimony, huh? PCC gives Christianity a very bad name! ...
Vincent Speranza (2019)
I'm an Uber Driver and I took a student to the airport that was flying out to the Dominican Republic at 7 a.m THE NEXT MORNING! So my curiosity being peaked I asked my client why she didn't just order an Uber the next morning a couple of hours prior to her flights departure? She replies "I'm not allowed to stay overnight because I have to be out of my dorm room the night before Christmas break unless I pay a 30 dollar fee! So because of that she had to spend the night at the Pensacola Airport! All I got to say is I myself as a Christian man will tell you that you're petty little self serving rules aren't helping the cause of christ they're hindering it because if I were a lost man and I heard what I heard from my customer last night you would've sealed my eternal destiny on a first class ticket to HELL! Dr. Jack Hyles nailed it, PCC are a bunch of yuppie type academics, not church builders, so they woefully lack God's compassion for people with broken lives. You won't see any poor people, rescue mission men, or worldly sinners sitting in the fancy pews of Campus Church! You'll only find a bunch of wealthy, self-righteous, holier than thou, snobs like the pastors and leaders at PCC. They've got a lot of big wallets at Campus Church, and that's the way PCC wants it. THE LOVE OF MONEY is what matters most to the ungodly PCC camp! They couldn't care less about INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE. ...
Pensacola Christian College Cult Exposed
PCC is a religious cult for imperfect people who pretend to be perfect. If, God forbid, your imperfections should surface, kiss your education goodbye! You will be out the door! I hope you read what Melissa said earlier, how PCC berated and mistreated her, wrongly labeling her as "a quitter" for going back home to care for her mother dying of cancer. This is typical of PCC. Even after I begged three times (in June, July and August of 2022) to come back to Campus Church, they cruelly refused. Pastor Jeff Redlin put it in writing! Only an ungodly pastor who couldn't care less about people would deny a hurting sinner the God-given need to attend church. THE TRUTH is that Campus Church is NOT a real New Testament church, it is a cult chapel for their PCC students, and anyone who is willing to submit to cult leadership.
I won't shut up! I won't go away! I am a human being created in God's image. At PCC only SOME LIVES MATTER, but in God's sight ALL LIVES MATTER!!! Thank you for reading.
