Dolly Parton Sacrificed Motherhood On The Altar Of Her Career

1st Timothy 5:14-15, “I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. For some are already turned aside after Satan.”

The following quotes from Dolly Parton (1946-2026) really disturbed me when I read them. Dear reader, what you are about to read is absolutely shameful and unbiblical. Dolly wasn't barren to become a mother, she chose her career over motherhood, which according to our text Scripture passage from 1st Timothy 5:14-15 means that she was “TURNED ASIDE AFTER SATAN” throughout her lengthy entertainment career. She even calls her sinful choices a “sacrifice,” and it sure was. I'll comment some more after you read this, if you will please:

Parton was married to her husband, Carl Dean, from 1966 until he died in 2025; however, the couple never had any kids, with the singer often sharing in interviews that parenthood was not meant for her and her spouse.

'I Had Freedom'

In a 2020 episode of Apple TV+’s The Oprah Conversation, the “Jolene” singer told Oprah Winfrey that not having children allowed her the independence that ultimately allowed her career to thrive.

"Since I had no kids, and my husband was pretty independent, I had freedom," she said. "So I think a big part of my whole success is the fact that I was free to work."

'I Believed That God Didn’t Mean for Me to Have Kids'

Despite being together for decades, Dolly Parton and Carl Dean never had kids.

The late superstar admitted she made "sacrifices" over the course of her career, but believed there was a reason why her life panned out the way it did.

"I didn’t have children because I believed that God didn’t mean for me to have kids so everybody’s kids could be mine, so I could do things like Imagination Library, because if I hadn’t had the freedom to work, I wouldn’t have done all the things I’ve done,” she continued to tell Winfrey. “I wouldn’t be in a position to do all of the things I’m doing now."

Dolly Parton was 'thankful' she never had to feel 'guilty' leaving children behind.

In one of her final interviews, she opened up about the sacrifices she’s made, telling PEOPLE in 2025 that she’s grateful she never had to feel guilty about leaving children behind to do her job.

"You know, I have just been going so fast my whole life. And I just start thinking, 'How in the world did I even have a life? How did I even get it done?' I really realized when I was putting this book [Star of the Show: My Life on Stage] together just how much I had sacrificed in my life," she shared. "I never had children, so at least I didn’t have a guilty feeling. I’m thankful that I got to see my dreams come true." SOURCE

Like wicked Eve in the Garden of Eden who rationalized to fabricate three excuses to justify eating the forbidden fruit (Genesis 3:6); so also had Dolly Parton rationalized her ungodly decision to sacrifice motherhood to pursue a career, making lame excuses in the third act of her life to justify her sinful choices. She admits, “I had freedom,” freedom to pursue her music productions, film projects and her own business ventures. This is not God's will for any woman! Again, Dolly wasn't barren, she chose not to become a mother.

Did you read what Dolly shamefully said:

She might as well have come right out and said that she despises the whole idea of motherhood. She said that she was “free to work”? Huh? Is she saying that a stay-at-home mother doesn't work? No, she means that she was free to pursue a career instead of being tied down at home as a mother. If every woman thought like Miss Parton the earth's population would die off. Don't get mad at me, the inspired Word of God is very clear in 1st Timothy 5:14-15 that it is sinful for a young woman to pursue a career over motherhood. Do you really think God and the angels agree with Dolly's sinful decision to sing, star in movies, and run a theme park instead of bearing children? I assure you that they do not agree.

It is disturbing what people lay at God's doorstep, claiming that sinful things are “God's will”...

Jeremiah 7:8-10, “Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?”

I heard a foolish young woman many years ago say that she knew it was “God's will” for her to become a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. I knew immediately that it wasn't God's will, because all of those cheerleaders are required to open their legs wide to expose their crotches, underwear and thighs in every game while cheerleading. They are ungodly immodest whores! 

Many Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders have been featured in Hugh Hefner's despicable Playboy magazine. I heard that same young woman say that she had auditioned nine times so far, but had been rejected each time. She said she knows it is God's will for her to work for the football team in Dallas as a cheerleader. No, young girl, it is not the LORD's will for you to become a low character whore without chastity and virtue. God's secret will NEVER goes against His revealed will in His written Word.

You don't need to pray for God's will regarding having sex with another woman's husband, because Hebrews 13:4 already teaches that it is sinful. You don't need to pray for God's will regarding wearing pants as a female, because Deuteronomy 22:5 already teaches that it is sinful. You don't need to pray about anything that the Bible already reveals. The Word of God absolutely condemns any female working as a whore for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders!

And also, Dolly Parton was very wrong to blame God for her choice alone not to have any children. Dolly said that it was God's will for her not to have any children. The Bible exposes her as a liar and a wicked woman, “For some are already turned aside after Satan” (1st Timothy 5:15). I say that kindly. The Apostle Paul is talking about women who refuse to stay at home as mothers. Get mad at God if that upsets you because He said it, not me.

Dolly didn't just innocently make movies and songs, she promoted sexual immorality by wearing the ungodly attire of an harlot (Proverbs 7:10). Do you think God was amused by her staring role in the 1982 movie, “The Best Little Whore House In Texas”? It is utter wickedness! Proverbs 14:9, “Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.”

Dolly said, 'I believed that God didn’t mean for me to have kids.' She is so wrong! How can Dolly say that when it was her own decision not to have any children, so that she could pursue a career in the entertainment industry? The worldly singer said, “At least I got to see my dreams come true.” What a fool! If you think that pursuing a career of any sort is a better dream and a higher calling than being a mother, you have a wicked disgraceful attitude.

I remember reading decades ago in the news about Dolly's bouts with depression because she didn't have any children and would never become a grandmother. It really bothered her soul. Then in her third act of life she allegedly found peace in the matter, by sinfully claiming that it was God's will for her never to become a mother. I'm sorry Miss Parton, but it wasn't God's will for you to pursue a career in the entertainment industry over motherhood. That was Dolly's will, not the Lord's will. And I think it was shameful, unbiblical and very sinful.

Christians must be careful not to follow the low moral standards and unbiblical choices of the world. Psalm 1:1-2, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

Kindly said, Dolly Parton was a wicked woman who sacrifice motherhood on the altar of her career. 1st Timothy 5:6, “But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.”

Why America Will Never Be “Great” Again

Proverbs 13:18, “Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.”

Proverbs 24:33-34, “Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.”

Approximately 1.7 million net new jobs since 2020 went to foreign-born workers, which is a significant portion of the overall job growth during that period. Illegal immigration is destroying our American economy. And don't be fooled by President Trump's Make America Great Again (MAGA) campaign, because it will fail I assure you.

No nation can ever be made “great” that still murders over one million babies in the womb each year. No nation can ever be made “great” that recognizes homosexual marriages and legally allows them to adopt children. No nation can ever be made “great” that financially ogresses its citizens with over taxation. No nation can ever be made “great” that allows divorces, and then unfairly robs men of their wealth to give to wives who didn't earn it. No nation can ever be made “great” that takes God's name in vain in every Hollywood movie. No nation can ever be made “great” that allows its females to walk around 99% butt naked wherever their is water to swim, et cetera. Why should God bless America? God's hand of blessing departed from the United States a very long time ago!

God is judging the American people by giving us over to our oppressors. You are naïve and deceived if you foolishly think Donald Trump will save our nation. Illegal immigration is estimated to cost American taxpayers nearly $451 billion per year, with long-term costs potentially reaching $1.15 trillion over the lifetime of new unlawful immigrants. This includes expenses related to healthcare, education, and law enforcement. Our leaders have commit treason and are responsible for destroying our country. Mostly to blame are the American people who sat idle and went along with the left/right paradigm scam. The American people are being played like a violin.

People by nature are just like dumb sheep that are easily controlled and victimized. I cringe as I see and hear professed Christians in our nation praise and wholeheartedly support President Trump—who openly supports homosexual marriage, state sanctioned abortions, the genocide of 75,000 Palestinians in Gaza, censorship of Americans who criticize Israel, et cetera.

Unless the American people (including our reckless irresponsible federal government) repents toward God, the United States is doomed. I do not think Donald Trump is a born again Christian. Trump plainly states in this interview that he is trusting in works to get to Heaven. What saith the Scripture? Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

I don't know about you dear reader, but I fear God. I see an out of control reckless society today in America that is long overdue for God's wrathful judgment.

Our ungodly court system has made marriage so risky when a divorce happens, robbing men of their hard-earned wealth, that few men want to get legally married anymore. The wicked U.S. court system with their greedy attorneys and complicit thug judges are to blame! No man in his right mind wants to marry a woman who has no assets, but he has a house that is paid for and a steady nice income. If he does marry her, when the marriage goes south he stands to lose HALF of everything he worked his entire life to earn. She brought nothing into the marriage, but she gets rewarded for quitting her marriage. I don't blame couples for cohabitating instead of getting married, and that is what Satan wants.

Tragically, we are destroying ourselves in the United States! You can forget about making America great again until we become godly again, and I don't see that ever happening again.

Ungodly Insurance Companies Are Crooked And Dishonest

Proverbs 1:18-19, “Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.”

If you ever want to see just how greedy and rotten the insurance companies are, read some of their policies. Not too long ago, I took the time to read the insurance policy that I was considering buying for an airplane ticket. I was sickened by what I read. I was under the wrong impression that if you missed your flight for any reason that the insurance company would reimburse you. Not so! In fact:

• If you are a pregnant woman and go into labor, so that you miss your flight, they won't reimburse you.
• If you suffer a heart attack or a stroke, but you had any previous existing underlying heath issues like high blood pressure or diabetes, they won't pay a dime.

The same holds true for insurance policies covering concert tickets:

• If you get into a car accident, the insurance company won't reimburse you unless you have a police report; and even still the policy reads that it is solely at the company's discretion whether or not they will reimburse you, even with a police report, for the price of your ticket.
• If you have a medical crisis, you are required to provide a doctor's statement, and they reserve the legal right to still deny your claim.

If you pay insurance for your house in case it burns down, unless you paid extra for “replacement cost” insurance (which not all insurance companies offer anymore), they won't replace your destroyed home. Instead, they will pay you a drastically reduced amount based upon the depreciated value of you house. So, if it would cost $500,000 to replace your house, the insurance company might cut you a check for $175,000. People get burned all the time by dishonest shady insurance companies. The legal term for when insurance companies give you the runaround is “bad faith insurance practices.” This refers to actions by the insurer that delay, deny, or underpay legitimate claims. They do it all the time to hurt people, in their greed.

Allstate is notorious for screwing people. One California man commit suicide many years ago because the Allstate company kept giving him the run-around concerning his claim, for damages to his house. Allstate is so shady that the company only has a 1.7 rating out of 5 at Consumer Affairs. RUN from this place!

For those aforementioned reasons and many more, I don't have any insurance on my home. I save a lot of money. When my children were younger and I was married, I paid extra for a substantial life insurance policy, but now that I'm about to turn 60 years of age, and my premiums are about to go up by 220% annually, I'm cancelling it. I really hate insurance companies and I don't trust them as far as I can see.

When my father died in 2010, while I was away from Guam in California 6,000 miles away undergoing neck surgery, Prudential insurance dishonestly sent me a certified letter warning that I only had 10 DAYS to respond or I'd forfeit any claim to my father's life insurance. I had been gone for a month for surgery in California, well beyond the 10 DAY limit. I wasn't going to hire an attorney for several thousand dollars to fight for what was legally mine. I was out of luck. Prudential stole my father's money, and mine, for which God will punish them severely (Matthew 7:1-2). Insurance companies are dirty thieves!

I hate lawyers! I hate insurance companies! I hate realtors! They are shady and dishonest low character people by large. I have more respect for a street pimp, than I do someone who will financially take advantage of others. Search the internet for horror stories of the rotten and dishonest things that insurance companies have done to people, and are still doing, legally. Without a lawyer to sue those crooked companies, you are out of options.

One of my favorite comforting Scripture passages is found in Isaiah 13:11, “And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.” A day of reckoning is coming for this entire world. There are now an estimated 8.3 billion people alive on earth. Just 25 years ago that number was only 6 billion. By 2011 it was 7 billion. Every individual human being must one day answer to God for the good and the bad that we have done in the flesh (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14; Romans 14:10-12).

I wrote this blog to warn my readers about the crookedness and dishonesty of insurance companies, if you weren't already aware. You need to read an insurance policy very carefully before signing up for any insurance policy; before wasting your money. Thankfully, we have advanced technologies today like ChatGPT to help you read and understand insurance policies, which are all written by scumbag ambulance-chasing attorneys.

Auto insurance is required by law in every state. I have GEICO auto insurance. I pay about $750 per year in Pensacola. Since my Honda 2013 is 13 years old, I just have liability insurance. I pay for the standard coverage.

I admit that I detest lawyers. In my lifetime I have had the unfortunate experience of having to hire three lawyers, which predators took away $77,000 of my hard earned money, for an absolute bare minimum of their effort.
