California Spent $24,000,000,000 On Homelessness And Fixed Nothing

Proverbs 28:27, “He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.”

This is beautiful. ...

How Americans Are Building $500 Tiny Homes On Wheels For Homeless People
The state of California has spent $24,000,000,000 since 2019 to remedy homelessness, but did nothing. One man with his own money built a $500 home for a homeless grandma and filmed it, starting a nationwide trend of building micro homes for the homeless.

It is possible to build a livable micro home for a homeless person for just $150, and a nicer one for $500. For about $1,200 you can build a home with a smoke detector, solar panel and other helpful amenities. And for $5,000 you can build a mansion for a homeless person compared to sleeping on the hard ground. For $1,000,000 you could build 200 of those $5,000 micro homes. For $1,000,000,000 you could build 200,000 micro homes. And for $24,000,000,000 you could build 4,800,000 microhomes for $5,000 each! There are only 160,000 homeless people in the entire state of California. So, where did that $24,000,000,000 go?

While it takes literally years for government bureaucracies to approve getting anything done, microhomes can be build over just one weekend. In his first inaugural address on January 20, 1981, Ronald Reagan wisely stated:
“In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.”

There is plenty of money and willing neighbours to help the poor and homeless in the United States. The real problem is the criminal incompetent government.
