Sadly, Family Baptist Church In Pensacola Doesn't Care

Romans 16:17-18, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

Shame on Pensacola Christian College (PCC) camp, which includes the pastors of the Family Baptist Church in Pensacola, who horribly slander Brother Hyles. On April 30th, 2025, in his church office, Pastor Brad Moffett wickedly slandered Brother Hyles to me and my wife, falsely accusing Brother Hyles of teaching things on sex and marriage that caused multitudes of families at First Baptist Church of Hammond and Hyles-Anderson College to go into sexual immorality, divorce and ruin. I couldn't disagree more!

I am my wife Alice were deeply hurt and shocked by Pastor Brad's accusations against our hero of the Christ faith, Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001). I and Alice were both saved under the ministry of Pastor Hyles (we were both saved at age 13). When I asked Pastor Brad what he was talking about he refused to elaborate. Isn't it something how people who claim to know something never seem to have any evidence to substantiate their slander?

Me and Alice had met Pastor Brad to talk about our upcoming remarriage, but he did a Bait & Switch and attacked my website ministry instead during the meeting. We are still deeply hurt and disappointed with Pastor Brad for what he did to us that horrible day. You cannot slander our hero, who led us both to Jesus Christ, and then refuse to explain what you are talking about and expect us to let the matter go. Life doesn't work that way. 

The words that we speak matters! God cares so much about our words that He said in Matthew 12:36b, “every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” We will all be held accountable in eternity for our every word spoken (and unspoken). RIGHT WORDS MATTER (Proverbs 30:5-6).

SHAME on Pastor Brad Moffett and his ungodly verbally abusive father for their arrogance, slander and bad attitudes as pastors. The way you treat people matters. I love those men with God's unconditional love, but they have no business being in the clergy. No man who is doctrinally wrong on Bible repentance should be entrusted to lead God's flock. No man who lacks genuine love, compassion and patience for people should lead God's flock.

RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!

Brad and Bobby Moffett are not worthy to shine Pastor Jack Hyles' shoes! Family Baptist Church is a neo-evangelical cesspool of sinful compromise, false doctrine and lukewarm indifference. Brother Hyles saw the direction of the churches...

The worst mistake you will ever make dear reader is to blindly join a church and follow some pastor, instead of searching the Scriptures as Jesus commanded (John 5:39; Acts 17:10-11).

I and my wife Alice were unjustly kicked out of Family Baptist Church on June 22, 2025, by their wicked pastors. They were upset because their pastor wickedly slandered Pastor Jack Hyles, and in response I commented on Facebook that Brad and his father Bobby Moffett are not worthy to shine Pastor Jack Hyles' shoes (and I still firmly stand behind my comments). 

Some busybody in their cult gossiped my comments back to their horrible pastors and they kicked us out of their church without even talking to us first. Real loving people, huh? Most Baptist churches today have an authoritarian type of leadership who are bully dictators not having a servant's heart. They couldn't have cared less about us as human beings, let alone being born again saints.

It is tragic that more and more people are just staying home these days (and I don't blame them one bit), rather than attend a doctrinally corrupt church with unloving pastors who couldn't care less, and be surrounded by foolish church members who just believe whatever their pastor tells them without searching the Scripture to verify if it is true. The average church member today is as a mindless lemming

And the church members are equally to blame, for wickedly bidding Godspeed to their bad pastors who are out of control. They are wrong on repentance; and therefore, wrong on God's simple plan of salvation. They are false prophets (Galatians 1:6-9). Nowhere does the inspired King James Bible teach to “repent of your sins” to be saved. That is a lie of infidels!

The reason why me and Alice were kicked out of Family Baptist Church in Pensacola is simply because we care. We care about modesty. My wife has never wore a pair of pants in her lifetime. Shame on any pastor's wife who wears pants in public!!! I said SHAME! 1st Timothy 2:910, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.” Godly women don't wear pants! If you disagree, it is only because you are clearly not right with God and have worldly heathen standards of clothing and morality. Ladies, conceal don't reveal!

The pastors and members of Family Baptist Church are unjustly mad at me for TELLING THE TRUTH. I told the truth that modesty matters, and the truth that right doctrine matters, and the truth that the way they treat people matters. I humbly think Pastor Brad should be ashamed of himself for the horrible way that he mistreated Tom in 2022-2023. Tom honestly told Pastor Brad in 2022 that he should be warning people about Satan's corrupt Bible versions. Brad was offended and didn't agree. The dispute escalated until Tom was kicked out of the church. Brad would rather kick Tom out the door than to admit that Brad is wrong for not exposing Satan's corruptible seed (i.e., the modern Bible perversions). TOM IS ABSOLUETLY RIGHT!!!

God detests neo-evangelicals! In Revelation 3:15-17, the lukewarm Laodicean church in Asia was a spiritual mess, but at least they weren't preaching another gospel. God said that He vomited them out of His mouth! That being said, a so-called “church” that is wrong on repentance is not a church, it is a religious cult like Mormons, Roman Catholics, Jehovah's Witness or the Seventh-Day Adventist cults. All four of these aforementioned cults teach wrong repentance, that is, the theological lie that to get to Heaven you must turn away from your sinful bad habits, repent of your sins, or be willing to turn from sin. Satan is a beautiful liar!

God knows that I am not trying to be unkind. It has never been my intention to be a troublemaker. Wicked King Ahab falsely accused the prophet Elijah of being a troublemaker because of his Bible preaching, but Elijah said in fact it was wicked Ahab who has caused trouble in Israel by his sin of idolatry. 1st Kings 18:17-18, “And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.”

Dear reader, it is wicked pastors who are the troublemakers for perverting the Gospel of free grace! It is the wicked pastors of Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College; and the wicked pastors of the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam; and the wicked pastors of Family Baptist Church in Pensacola; and the wicked pastors of Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola; and the wicked pastor of Fairfield Drive Baptist Church in Pensacola; and the wicked pastors of the Agana Heights Baptist Church in Pensacola; and the wicked pastor os Bayview Baptist Church on Guam; and the wicked pastors of the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam; and the wicked pastors at Pacific Garden Mission and their 'UNSHACKLED' radio program in Chicago; and the wicked religious people at Chick Tracts; and the wicked religious professors at Bob Jones University in South Carolina—who are THE TROUBLEMAKERS!!!

These churches and their incompetent pastors are all guilty of corrupting the simplicity that is in Christ (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4), by adding turning from sinful bad habits as a requirement to receive God's free gift of eternal life, which is through faith alone in Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:9). The only requirement to believe the Gospel to be saved is to realize your need for the Savior as a guilty sinner (Romans 3:19-20). Acts 13:39b tells us that “all that believe are justified from all things.” If saved, always saved!

The Bible tells us in Titus 2:12 that “we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world...” Not “must,” that is works! Not “will,” that is Calvinism! But rather, we “should” live godly lives in Christ Jesus as believers. Anyone who tells you that you must do good works to prove your faith is genuine is a false prophet! The unsaved false prophets in Matthew 7:21-23 did “many wonderful works” in Jesus' name, but they still died in their sins and went to Hell forever. Jesus denied knowing them as His sheep!

They failed to do the Father's will, which according to John 6:28-29 and 40 is simply to believe on Jesus! Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. That is what tragically happened to them in Matthew 7:21-23. They had churchianity without Christianity.

Years ago, I used to enjoy looking for what was called “Magic Eye” in the Chicago Sun Times newspaper each day. Magic Eye doesn't work as well online, it works best with an actual printed image. The basic idea is to stare at the image up-close and then slowly back away until you see a three dimensional image floating in the foreground. Magic Eye is amazing to say the least. It is difficult for some people to see the hidden image.

I think this is a great illustration of the Gospel. Most people spend their entire life looking at religion and yet never see the simple Gospel right in front of them. More people will die in their sins and go to Hell because they trusted in too much to be saved. Bible salvation is not faith in Jesus plus making an effort to stop sinning as much. It is not faith in Christ plus water baptism or keeping a bunch of sacraments. It is not faith plus good works!

Bible salvation is you coming to God as a needy hell-deserving sinner, and resting completely by faith (reliance, trust) in the finished work of Christ dying on the cross for your sins, being buried and three days later resurrecting bodily from the dead. This is the Gospel (1st Corinthians 15:1-6), by which all who believe it are saved (Romans 1:16). You must trust Jesus Christ alone to get to Heaven! Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

I have no doubt that the members of Family Baptist Church won't agree with the things I have said negative about them, but I speak THE TRUTH. They never cared about me or my wife. Their pastor's wife never once introduced herself to my wife, even after I had attended their church for 45 months. That speaks volumes about their bad attitude, lack of compassion and woeful lack of fellowship with God. In my humble opinion, the presence of the Holy Spirit is not there at Family Baptist Church. It is merely a social club and fun center.

Tyranny is rarely seen except by those who are oppressed by it. Ask Tom and his wife Sharon what they think about Family Baptist Church. They detest that horrible place! Ask Bobby who lives across the street from the church what he thinks about Family Baptist Church. Bobby detests that horrible place! Bobby was mistreated by their bully pastors, just like Tom, just like me and Alice, just like countless others. Shame on the leadership at Family Baptist Church.
