Preachers Say The Darndest Things!

Acts 17:10-11, “And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Ephesians 5:10-11, “Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

I was listening to a sermon today by my all-time favorite preacher, Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001). The sermon is titled: “EVERYBODY'S HAVING A TOUGH TIME.” Dr. Hyles says some things toward the end of the sermon that I totally disagree with! This message was preached back in the year 1990. Now, I love the sermon. I just don't agree with something that he said in the sermon, which I want to refute, because I think it is important for Christians to know.

At about 26 minutes into the message Dr. Hyles preaches against Americans who criticized President George H. Bush Sr. at the time. Ronald Reagan was U.S. President from 1980 to 1988 and then George H. Bush Sr. became U.S. President from 1988 to 1992. Pastor Hyles teaches that Americans ought not criticize what the U.S. government was doing over in Iraq. I remember the U.S. led invasion into Iraq at the time. I was working as a truck mechanic back then. I remember the tension we felt as Americans as the first rockets were fired into Iraq and buildings were bombed to the ground. War is always a scary thing for a nation's people!!!

Dr. Hyles reasoned that the U.S. President knows information that Americans don't, so we should just support him and be quiet! Now, I humbly disagree with that. We know that anarchy is wrong! The Bible teaches in Romans 13:1-10 that believers ought to obey the higher powers (God being the highest). And for that matter, our U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights are higher powers than the U.S. government!!! Our leaders are bound by these dear historical documents. Sadly, these laws are violated every day by courts all across our great country with arrogance and impunity. It is treason!

I agree with Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980):

We have a Biblical duty as believers and a patriotic duty as American citizens, to cry aloud against lying, fraud and crimes in government. We have every right to question what OUR government does in OUR name and with OUR money, sending OUR children to war!

I remember the horrific attack on September 11, 2001 against the World Trade Center buildings. We call it “911” to this day! I can vividly remember that in the months and years to follow after 911, there was considerable public outcry against U.S. President George W. Bush Jr.'s White House administration over 911 and the U.S. led invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. Many Americans were upset and angry about Patriot Acts I and II, which were newly enacted as a consequence of 911, depriving Americans of our right to privacy. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security didn't exist prior to 911. This fascist department was created in 2002 as a direct consequence of the horrific 911 attacks. TSA (the Transportation and Security Administration) became ruthless at all airports, sticking their hands in people's pants, forcing elderly people to remove their diapers, making mothers drink their own breast milk, all in the name of national security. America became a THUG POLICE STATE!!!

I vividly remember that the newsmedia vehemently demonized anybody who dared to question the official government's narrative of what really happened on 911. Fox News were viscous toward the opposition. I distinctly remember Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly harshly ganging up on and demonizing anybody who dared to question the government's Official Story of 911. When Vietnam veteran and former mayor and governor in Minnesota, Jesse Ventura, questioned how 2 planes could bring down 3 buildings, Fox News crucified him on national TV and called him “anti-American” and “unpatriotic.” In truth, there is nothing more patriotic than questioning one's government when crimes are committed by our leaders.

Famous author Mark Twain rightly said: “Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.” WHAT REALLY HAPPENED ON 911? For any honest thinking person, it is 100% obvious that 911 was an INSIDE JOB. So says Vietnam veteran and retired 32-year NYFD investigator Rudy Dent. Firefighters testified that they heard BOMBS going off in the buildings. A NYC judge ordered the firefighters to be silenced or face termination of their careers. The WTC was imploded on 911 by controlled demolition, which requires several months to prepare, using carefully placed thermite charges. The way they accomplished this was by appointing Marvin Bush to head up the security company which oversaw the WTC buildings for the two years leading up to 911. It was all planned!

Alaskan senator Sarah Palin foolishly said publicly that George W. Bush Jr. was “DOING GOD'S WILL” as U.S. troops murdered 1,455,590 innocent Iraqis. We weren't doing God's will, we were doing the Devil's bidding. Jesus warned in John 10:10 that the thief (Satan) comes only to kill, steal and destroy. Our nation violated many of God's Ten Commandments when we invaded and overthrew Iraq's sovereignty. We bear false witness against an innocent country. No Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD's) were ever found. Those alleged WMD's were the entire and sole reason for justifying the U.S. led invasion of Iraq. The ungodly White House lied us into an illegal war that congress never approved. At the time many of our faithful elected leaders, like Congressman Ron Paul and Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, decried 911 as an Inside Job, questioning the White House. For daring to raise questions these good leaders were demonized and horribly persecuted by the media and peers in the government.

We stole Iraq's oil. We coveted Iraq's natural resources. We murdered 1,455,590 innocent people in Iraq. The United States broke all of these Ten Commandments!!! We are in trouble with God. If you think only OUR leaders are guilty, you are greatly mistaken friend. It is called “Corporate Responsibility.” We horribly dishonored our parents by attacking an innocent people. Iraq never even threatened to attack America! Yet we falsely accused them of having WMD's. In Pastor Hyles' sermon in question, he even mentions that Iraq has nuclear weapons. Dear reader, no they didn't!!! It made me sick when the ungodly U.S. Justice Department gave clemency to the Bush Administration, so former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and former U.S. President George W. Bush can never be prosecuted in the future for the Iraqi War. They did that because THEY KNOW it is just a matter of time before THE TRUTH COMES OUT!!! The truth is like the sun and moon, the clouds may block out their light for a time, but eventually they will shine again.

So as much as I love and respect Pastor Hyles, I 100% disagree with his teaching that Americans should just bury their heads in the sand like an ostrich, while OUR government exploits OUR children in the military to murder innocent people who never attacked anyone, and they do it all with OUR taxpayer dollars!!! I remember back in 1990 that the ungodly Bush Administration used a clever ploy in Kuwait to anger Americans to justify invading Iraqi. This political tactic is an old as civilization itself. A 15 year old girl was used as an actor to pretend that Iraqi solders had slaughtered a bunch of babies:

The caucus — which wasn’t an official congressional committee, despite its name — introduced the girl as 15-year-old Nayirah, her last name withheld to protect her family in Kuwait. Nayirah recalled the trauma of watching Iraqi troops storm into Al Adan Hospital in Kuwait City, where she volunteered as a nurse. Live on air, she said the Iraqis had removed 312 babies from incubators and left them to die on the cold floor. SOURCE: THE GREAT LIE OF THE FIRST GULF WAR

It was discovered later that the girl lied and the whole event never actually happened. With this type of constant deception, fraud and lying by our U.S. government, only a complete fool would blindly trust and go along with whatever our leaders do!!! ...

My intent is not to criticize Pastor Hyles, but to strongly expose the foolishness of his attitude in this matter. Dr. Hyles grew up in The Great Depression of the 1930's. He was born in 1926 into poverty in east Texas. Dr. Hyles grew up so poor that he never saw a flushable toilet until he was 15 years old. He never saw an egg until he was a teenager. When Jack Hyles was 11 years old his older sister got a job and bought him his first bicycle. Brother Hyles saw the rebellion of the 1960's and the ungodly Hippie Movement in California. He saw the draft dodgers during the Vietnam War, many who protested the war as conscious objectors. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton fled to Canada to escape the draft to Vietnam. By law Clinton never should have been allowed to become U.S. President. What an insult and mockery to make such a contemptible man the top leader of our country, while passing over thousands of respectable veterans who served in the military and came back permanently wounded.

So I understand Brother Hyles' strong feeling of submission to authority. I feel the same except when we see blatant fraud among our leaders. Dr. Hyles made his statement from the standpoint that our leaders are privileged to information that we don't have, so we ought to be careful and refrain from anarchy. Jude 1:10, “But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.” But this is not the case with 911. We KNOW that we were lied to.

Kindly said, I am not loyal to Dr. Jack Hyles or any human being, I am loyal to THE TRUTH. It is because Christians don't speak out against evil that things are so bad nowadays!!! What one generation tolerates the next generation will embrace. One of my favorite courageous preachers who emphasizes that Christians have a Biblical duty to stand up against evil in government is Pastor Chuck Baldwin in Montana.

The University of Fairbanks Alaska did a study in 2020 and concluded that fire did NOT bring down the WTC buildings. An astonishing 3,514 licensed architects and engineers have gone on public record to state that airplanes did not bring down those WTC buildings on 911. The culprits behind 911 have never been brought to justice. I thank God for Ecclesiastes 5:8, “If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.” There will be justice for the victims of 911. The Bush family and their accomplices may have escaped justice in the short term, but God has it all recorded. A criminal may evade justice in this life, but Hebrews 4:13 says they won't in the next. Hebrews 4:13, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

I've been watching the popular TV show Cold Case Files. Forensics is an amazing science! Thank God for police detectives. They deserve a lot of gratitude when they do their jobs well. I am amazed at the depth of investigation, incredible amount of resources spent, and efforts made to catch a murderer even after 50 years have passed since the crime!!! Wow! And that is all for just one homicide. On 911 there were 2,977 innocent people brutally murdered. Many jumped over eighty stories to their horrible death. We KNOW that something shady went down on 911. We KNOW that the U.S. newsmedia are bold-faced liars who cannot be trusted!!!

There is a big difference between sinful anarchy (which merely aims to overthrow the government), and the legal right to publicly protest and efforts of law-abiding U.S. citizens to expose crimes and corruption in OUR government. After the Newtown, Connecticut, Sandy Hook shooting in 2012, a former Florida state trooper named Wolfgang Halbig simply asked 20 questions, for which he was demonized and officially labeled as a crazy person in police databases. That is so wrong and evil. What did Mr. Halbig do that was so horribly wrong for simply asking questions? Honest people don't have anything to hide!!! Only liars and criminals need to silence others. John 18:20, “Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.” I encourage you to simply read Mr. Halbig's 20 questions and I think you will agree with me that he is the victim, because he got too close to THE TRUTH of what really happened at Sandy Hook.

So when I heard Pastor Hyles preaching, it upset me to hear him scolding people who question the decisions of our government leaders. Since they are OUR leaders being paid with OUR money, sending OUR children into harms way in war, to hurt OUR overseas neighbors in OUR name, and using OUR taxpayer dollars to pay for the mayhem, you better believe that it is OUR business!!! We have every right to ask all the questions we want. We should always question, protest and even resist our government when they do things that are blatantly WRONG! That is why we have something called the BILL OF RIGHTS!
