The Counterfeit Gospel Of 'The Jesus Revolution' Movie

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

I saw 'The Jesus Revolution' Friday night. I agree with Pastor Greg Laurie that God uses flawed people. I love the statement in the film that Chuck Smith's wife says to encourage him: "Don't be so arrogant to think that God cannot work through your failures." I love that!

However, the big problem I have with the film is the counterfeit plan of salvation. In the movie the audience is taught to do these 3 unbiblical things in addition to faith to get to Heaven:

1. Repent of your sins. 
2. Invite Christ into your life. 
3. Receive Jesus as your Lord. 

Nowhere in the inspired King James Bible are we taught to repent "of your sins." Men added those words, not God. Repentance is "a change of mind" toward God (Acts 20;21).  Repentance is acknowledging "the truth" that we are a guilty sinner (2nd Timothy 2;25, Romans 3;19-20). You've got to know what you're being saved from, and why you need to be saved. We are all sinners and there is a penalty for sin, which is death in the Lake of Fire (Romans 6;23, Revelations 20;11-15, 21;8).

The Gospel is not a message of what you must do to be saved, but it's a message of what Christ has already done for you. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

Nor does the Bible tell us to invite Christ into our life. Judas invited Christ into his life and still went to Hell. According to Matthew 27:3 Judas repented of his sins, feeling guilty that he got caught red handed. Judas felt remorse (penitence) and returned the 30 pieces of silver (penance). Judas had changed (reformation), but Judas never repented toward God to be saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

Nor does the Holy Bible require that we surrender to Jesus as Lord to get to Heaven. You don't make Jesus Lord, HE IS LORD! Discipleship is a second decision that every believer must make. This is SERVICE for Christ, not SALVATION. Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” The Jesus Revolution movie fails to make this necessary distinction between SONSHIP and DISCIPLESHIP. The movie sadly preaches another gospel that does not match Jesus' plan of salvation in the Bible. John 6;47, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."

I humbly believe that Revelation chapter 18 describes the coming horrific destruction of the United States. Kindly said, if we Americans go to war against Russia and China, we are in BIG TROUBLE! The United States is dying and has been for a long time. The insanity that we saw in major cities all across the U.S., during the Black Lives Matter Movement, was clear evidence of our weakness as a people and a nation. We helplessly watching in shock and horror, as angry Americans criminally rioted, vandalized and burned cities to the ground. Where were the police forces? Why didn't the authorities send in the National Guard to stop the mayhem? Jesus said that a house divided cannot stand.

Our military is weak. Our federal government is in massive debt for over $31,000,000,000,000. In Bible prophecy, America is not mentioned, likely because the United States won't be viable anymore as a country. Our country's border have been wide open since the 1970's, allowing 60,000,000 illegals to flood into society, dragging down the whole system. I think the Luciferian elite have done this intentionally to hide with smoke and mirrors the Federal Reserve Banking Ponzi Scheme (aka, the 'Federal Reserve Act' fraud since 1913), which WILL ultimately implode and force tens of millions of Americans into homelessness and poverty.

I agree with Owen Shroyer that China will likely commit their military forces next month to help Russia in the present conflict with Ukraine. I think President Joe Biden may start World War III if he keeps running his big mouth to provoke Russia. President Trump when in office refused to get involved with the Ukrainian conflict, as did President Barack Obama before him. President Trump agrees with President Vladimir Putin, echoing the truth that Ukraine is the most corrupt nation in Europe. Mr. Trump sided with Russia and I do too. They don't tolerate the homosexual agenda in Russia. They don't tolerate liberals pushing their gender-bending insanity upon impressionable children. Satan is in control of America today!!!

It is not the job of the United States to police the world and get involved in everyone's dirty laundry. This reckless financial support of Ukraine is all debt-spending on our behalf, being billed to us and our children and their children, and their children's children. I was sickened when I read in the news last year that the United States borrowed $40,000,000,000 from China, and then gave the money to Ukraine to buy more weapons. Since the beginning of the Russian was with Ukraine, the U.S. have given $75,000,000,000 to Ukraine. In fact, so far the U.S. has borrowed over $1,000,000,000,000 from China!!! Americans didn't vote for any of this insane debt spending, our corrupt leaders did. Proverbs 22:7, “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”

China desperately wants Taiwan back. Russia and China are in the same boat, wanting Ukraine and Taiwan back, respectively. It is in their best interests to militarily oppose the United States! Our nation's leaders have openly admitted that they are selling us out to a New World Order...

As if Republicans are any better at running the government than Democrats! There is a deadly two-party paradigm in the United States. It shouldn't come as a surprise to God-fearing Christians, that the main culprit for today's mental illness among teens and society, is the woeful lack of the inspired Holy Bible is their lives. Since 1962 that Holy Bible, prayer and effectively God, have been removed and banned from the entire public school system.

What irony that a child is deprived of the inspired Word of God from kindergarten to twelfth grade in high school, but then are later handed a Holy Bible when they end up in prison. We've got it all backwards in America!!! Today's dysfunctional ungodly adult (drunkards, drug attics, fornicators, adulterers, complainers, homosexuals, haters, liars, cheaters, evil doers, abortionists, et cetera), who grew up in the American public school system, have no moral compass. What was so wrong about teaching children faith in God and prayer?

Dear reader, our founding fathers never intended for separation of government and state, to mean separation of God and state. When you remove God from the government, all you have left is tyranny and idolatry, as men become their own gods. Those who will not by governed by God, will be ruled over by tyrants. Our foolish nation is now ruing the day, that we allowed our rotten U.S. courts to remove the inspired Holy Bible from children's daily lives at school. Yet, the ungodly U.S. government indoctrinates impressionable children with the blatant fraudulent lies of evolution. Evolution is not legitimate science, it is bizarre fiction and wild unverifiable speculation. Only a darn fool lends credence to such a fallacy as the theories of evolution.

Certainly social media has contributed to teen depression, but much more to blame (I humbly think) is the Devil's confusing LGBTQ agenda, and the Devil's confusing gender-bending agenda being pushed off on teens in public schools. Teaching girls that they might really be boys confuses them. The same is true for teen boys. Such confusion would depressed many teenagers, and adults too. I get depressed and sad over these ungodly agendas. Teens are not emotionally mature enough to handle such craziness in life. In the history of human civilization, our society has never experienced anything like this.

I wrote this blog to raise awareness to the REAL PROBLEM today. Social media is partly to blame for teen sadness and depression, but the content on social media is indicative of the moral degeneration of our American society. We continually hear sympathy in the media toward LGBTQ youth, while no such sympathy is shown toward Christian youth.

The heart of the issue concerning the LGBTQ movement is what God's Word says is a sin, versus what liberals and ungodly society says is wrong. Leviticus 20:13 and Romans 1:22-32 plainly teach that homosexuality in all its forms is a terrible sin in God's sight. So also is adultery, murder and witchcraft. Just because mankind in recent times has adopted ungodly sins as being acceptable, doesn't mean that God has. God never changes (Malachi 3:6). Jesus never changes (Hebrews 13:8). Humanity's tolerance and perspective of sin does.

Teens need Jesus Christ! They need to be told THE TRUTH that homosexuality is a sin, and is not God's best choice for them. Teens need to be taught the horrible and potentially deadly diseases that the homosexual lifestyle causes. It is really a deathstyle. The moment that I heard in the news this week about teen girls across the country increasingly becoming sad, depressed and suicidal—I immediately thought about all the insanity in today's schools and culture, which confuses young people about their gender, sexual preference and morality. 

The solution is to put the GOOD BOOK back into teenager's daily lives. The Word of God was dubbed 'The Good Book' centuries ago for a very real reason, because it produces goodness in God's children as they willingly yield to the fruit of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25). Obviously, not all saints walk in the Spirit, which does not affect God's free gift of eternal life (Romans 6:1). This is why every child of God needs to attend a local soulwinning, King James Bible only, free grace Gospel-preaching, people-loving, church. We all need fellowship with other saints to be encouraged, edified and comforted (as we do also others). Evangelist Lester Roloff (1914-1982) said it well in his classic sermon titled, “Titanic.” Brother Roloff said: “America was great when she was good, and she was good when she had great churches.”

Only 5% Of Americans Eat Enough Fiber

Daniel 1:11-16, “Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.”

I am so glad that God put this helpful information in the Holy Bible. Daniel had been taken captive by King Nebuchadnezzar to Babylon in 586 BC. This was God's judgment upon the southern kingdom of Israel for their failure to keep the Sabbath Day for 490 years. God punished them with Babylonian captivity, one year for every seven years that they didn't observe the Sabbath Day.

While in Captivity, Daniel was fed junk food, and he detested it. So Daniel asked the eunuch Melzar to please try something new. Daniel suggested feeding the men under his supervision and care pulse (Daniel 1:12). What is pulse? Pulse is seeds, beans and lentils. Pulse is edible seeds of various pod-bearing plants. But Daniel also suggested a 10-day trial for the pulse diet. That is so encouraging to me, because it shows how quickly we can turn our health around by simply changing our diet. Yes, dear reader, you can feel 100% better by simply eating healthier foods and drinking more water.

This morning when I woke up, I started my day by thanking God for another day, and I told the Lord that I loved Him. I then made a smoothie. I highly recommend that you buy a Nutri-Ninja if you don't have one. I bought my first one from Amazon.com, but then it burned out when one of two legs of power went out to the house (a broken tree branch feel on it and knocked the line down), and then back-fed through the circuitry and blew my mixer out. So I bought my second Nutri-Ninja from Walmart.

Today I put about 4 Tablespoons of ground flax seeds, half of a small tray of blackberries, about a dozen strawberries, some granola, ice and water. Then I ate a bowl of Great Grains cereal with some whole milk. That was my breakfast. By eating that way each day, I get my daily fiber. For lunch I ate some mixed vegetables that I bought in a bag at Walmart. They have several different varieties of vegetables in seasoned sauce. Yummy!

It is important for your long term health that you eat enough fiber every day. All kinds of beans are awesome to get enough fiber. Just one can of any type of beans provides 100% of the recommended daily amount (RDA) of fiber.

Wowza! That is great stuff! Sadly, according to Nutrition.org, only 5% of men and 9% of women are getting enough fiber in their daily diet. That is disturbing...

I just wrote this blog to encourage you dear reader to eat more fiber in your daily diet. Without enough fiber, you can unfortunately look forward to cancer, bowel problems, weight gain, feeling lethargic and all kinds of potential diseases. All those boxed pizzas, boxed foods, junk food, ice cream, sugary sodas, greasy burgers and packaged snacks aren't good for your health. In the short term they won't hurt you enough to feel the results, but over the years you will see and feel the damage.

The encouraging thing, as the Bible proves in the book of Daniel, is that it just took 10 DAYS to see  a noticeable difference in Daniel and his peers. Daniel 1:14-16, “So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.” I challenge you to start eating a high fiber diet, just the daily recommend amount. You will look and feel better in a short amount of time.

Millions of people are now excited about a new diabetic drug that has been proven to cause weight loss. The drug is called: Ozempic. But Medicare and other insurance companies refuse to pay for it. I don't blame them. I heard in the news this week that 100,000,000 obese Americans can benefit from this new drug. That's a lot of insurance claims and an aircraft carrier full of money!!! I also heard this week that 40% of Americans are obese. Dear reader, we don't need Ozempic, all we need to do is eat the recommended daily amount of fiber. Fiber makes the body feel full, which will curb our appetite. You'll never lose weight eating junk foods that are totally devoid of fiber.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Remember, by the inch it's a cinch, but by the yard it is hard. Don't pull the rug out from under yourself by forcing yourself to eat a bunch of foods that you dread eating. Rather, start including high fiber foods into your daily diet, and eat a balance of healthy foods and a lesser amount of your favorite foods (like ice cream). Keep it fun.
